Good bye and Hello

Friday was Mom's last day at South Coast Repertory. Her friends at work threw her a lovely and very generous goodbye party/baby shower.

She worked at SCR as Joanne DeNaut's Casting Assistant for 9 years. She loved it very much and is sure to miss it (so are we) but is very anxious to begin the latest adventure as mom of four.

Photos of a few of Mom's favorite shows: Cyrano, Shipwrecked and Hamlet

Thanks to all who contributed to Livi's stroller!

Some great loot.
The Puoci Girls are always stylish and Livi won't be any different.

Congratulations to Nonna and Grandma who can FINALLY hang up their nanny hats and take on their proper roles as regular (though, incredibly awesome) Grandmothers to the Puoci Girls. Mom and Dad cant thank you enough for these last 10 years. We couldn't have survived without you. (Hopefully we haven't burned you out... too much)

The Puoci Girls and a bunch of family and friends took Dad to the movies for his birthday. Afterwards we enjoyed burgers and dogs at Knowlwood.

Happy Fathers Day

Happy Father's day to all the Dads the Puoci Girls love dearly. Especially our Dad, our Nonno Jacques, our Grandpa Ed, our Great Grandpa Russ, and our Godfathers: Dezy and Uncle Nick

Dad: You are a wonderful example of unconditional love and generosity. Thank you for your kindness and for your over exuberant and ever expressive love of my daughters.

Mike: You've helped make me who I am. I love you. Thank you.

Funny Fathers Day Quotes

Never raise your hand to your kids. It leaves your groin unprotected.

--Red Buttons

If the new American father feels bewildered and even defeated, let him take comfort from the fact that whatever he does in any fathering situation has a fifty percent chance of being right.

Tori's Ten

We celebrated Tori's birthday at home on Saturday with a party for family and friends.

Zandra made the cake. YUMMY! If you live in North OC and need a delicious cake for any occasion, let me know and I will pass on her info to you.

Annie finally lost her tooth the night before.

Too bad our friends live so far away, we'd see them more often

Long Day!

I was going through some paper work and found this story Tori wrote for homework last year. The underlineds words were her spelling words for that week.

The Sudden Storm
All at once, there is a sudden thunder storm. People scatter in every direction. There are many urgent calls. This will be a problem for the state council. Some people escape from the storm into the night. Others stay in their cottage. The kind barber offers to welcome people into his shop to escape the storm. He is an expert in surviving storms. Few survive.

Things that keep me up at night

  • Tori's turning 10.
  • 14 million things running through my brain from Tori's birthday, Taryn's shower, health of family, twins graduation, end of school, end of work...
  • Olivia doesn't like icecream.
  • My back hurts.
  • Mike snores (Shh, he doesn't read the blog so no one has to tell him, otherwise I will get in trouble for that one)
Ok, off to bed. Let's try this one more time...
