Nonna took the PGs to Soak City today. When we got there we were excited to see our friends from school, The Cano Family. We hung out with them and had a great time. Olivia LOVED the water in the kiddie area and the big girls enjoyed the Lazy River with the grown ups before going on the big slides and hanging out in the wave pool.

Tori's a STAR
We received Tori's STAR (Standard Test And Reporting) Student Report yesterday and she has scored advance in all areas. STAR testing begins in 2nd grade. It's her 4th state test and she's scored advance each year. She's also scored 100% in math each year!
Good Job, Tori. We are all very proud of you.

Timeline update
Dad's coming home for Olivia's birthday, August 15th. Can you believe it? The Littlest Puoci Girl is turning 1 already. This year has just flown by. If you are around, we will be celebrating at Nonna and Nonno's house.
The 16th will be spent fixing up a couple things at the house, taking down the projecter, the computer, the big stuff we are waiting for Dad for. Heehee.
The 17th. BIG moving day. The PGs will be starting VBS at Church for the week and Mom and Dad will be at the house all day as the movers fill the big ol' truck.
The 18th. Bright and early, Dad gets on a plane back to Seattle, this time with Ramsey. It will be easier for Dad to travel with her than Mom and all of us, and we think that Dad will enjoy some company for the final week he is up there alone.
18 - 23. Clean & paint the house. If you wanna help, you're more than welcome!
Sunday, August 23rd. The Puoci Girls fly up to their new home near Seattle. Grandma's coming with us and Nonna will meet us up there.

It's getting closer
The absolute BEST thing about moving to Seattle:
Angelique, Lucas and the new baby Khouz. Oh yeah, Mom's cousin Gilles and his wife, Mary, too
For those who don't know, Gilles is an Arabic version of Dad (only pc, not mac) and if Gilles didn't marry Mary we would have gotten her in the family some other way.

Why didn't she think of this sooner?
Point 1: Olivia is not a fan of bath time. Not a fan at all. It does not create the calm, relaxed mood baths do in most babies. Livi gets riled up and after her bath, she gets cocky and superior as if to say, "HA!, I won. You took me out and now I can do anything I want."
Point 2: Livi needs to be bathed a lot more often than she used to. She is a fun, filthy mess, crawling around and getting into everything, day and night.
Point 3: After dinner is a busy time for the PGs. We all have to take our showers, get ready for school the next day, brush our teeth, read our books, etc. etc. And... There are a lot of us.
Point 4: Right now, it's just Mom. Grandma and Nonna have been very helpful while Dad is in WA but it's sometimes easier for Mom to have the evenings solo. We tend to prefer our grandmothers (hey, who wouldn't) and get distracted from our evening routine. (Also, we think it's easier for mom to yell at us if Nonna and Grandma aren't around). And apparently we aren't the only people in Nonna and Grandma's lives. They have houses of their own and other people in their families. That's what people tell us, anyway.
Point 5: Livi is the fairest in all the land... And her complexion is the fairest of all the PGs. She has the most sensitive skin so she needs a good coat of lotion &/or sunscreen on all the time.
All this to say: Mom has moved Olivia's bath time from the evening to the late morning.
The girls go off to school. Livi has a good, messy breakfast. She "fusses" for some time in the bath. Mom lubes her up with sunscreen and then they can carry on with the day with one less item on the evening to do list.

Traveling
Daddy just left for WA a few minutes ago. Last night, he and Mom hooked up Skype so that we can video conference with him this month and with all of you once we join him. Mom and Dad are linked through their phones so we can watch his progress as he travels these two days to Bothell. He is hoping to get to Gilles and Mary's tomorrow night.
Here's his route.

Our New Home
Dad leaves for WA on Wednesday. He will be settling in to our new home when he arrives on Friday. The best thing about living in Bothell will definitely be our neighbors that live down the road a bit.
You can see pictures of the house here and video of it here. Our suppa-cool neighbors are pictured.
We are getting very excited about moving to our new place!

SUNDAY, JULY 19th - MOVING/GARAGE SALE Come one and all! We are moving to WA but all our stuff isn't. We've got clothes, toys, kitchen stuff, office supplies, furniture, etc., etc. 15 years and 4 kids worth of stuff. Lots will be free to friends & we PGs will be giving out lemonade to anyone who buys anything.
Friday, August 14th - Most likely the PGs last day at Sunkist Elementary
Saturday, August 15th - Olivia's 1st Birthday. We are celebrating at Nonna and Nonno's house. Hope to see you all there.

Ahh, shoes...
Not everything can come to WA with us. Mom went through her shoes and decided which ones she will have to get rid of Olivia feels just as bad as mom does. It's a dark video, true, but it's a dark day when mom gets rid of shoes before their time.

We are moving to WA!
Dad accepted a position at Snowblind Studios as a Senior FX Artist, in Bothell, WA. Snowblind is owned by WB Games and Bothell is about 20 miles outside of Seattle. We are waiting on some details, specifically his start date, but we will be moving up to Washington sometime this summer so that we will be there for the start of the school year. Dad may go ahead of us but we want to be in Southern California for Olivia's birthday (8/15) so that we can celebrate it here.
We are excited about the adventure, especially about being next to the Khouzam family.
