Olivia has been having a great time practicing her brand-new skill, walking backwards. And while we are having a great time watching her, laughing and making beeping sounds, we see that this new skill is coming in quite handy as she backs up to sit on someone's lap or to try to go safely down the stairs.
We love to listen to her babble and sing and she is also starting to say some "real" words, too. Of course there's the regular Mama, Dada, Uh-Oh, etc. but Olivia also says:
"Up-pah" for Opah - pick me up.
"nahNahnah" for banana - all food
"DAHta" for Tauntie
"baba" - bottle
"AHda" - all done
"goo gaw" - good dog/good girl
"Ah-EE" - Ramsey
and
"Bye-bye"
